Artist Nancy Moore at the Mattatuck Museum
Nancy Moore’s work will be appearing at the Mattatuck Museum in Waterbury, Connecticut, opening on Sunday January 12, from 1 to 3 PM. This is the museum’s Mixmaster 2020 Exhibition. The juror is Richard Michelson, founder of R. Michelson Galleries in Northampton, Massachusetts. The accepted painting is titled ‘Pillars’, 51” x 38”, Watercolor, colored pencil, gouache, graphite on paper.
Moore’s Unconventional Women series was featured in SEFA’s Winter Selects 2019, which followed her inclusion in the juried Guild Group Exhibition in 2018 at Silvermine Gallery in New Canaan, Connecticut. SEFA Director Susan Eley curated the 2018 Guild Group show.
MIXMASTER is an exhibition that seeks to discover and recognize the talents of artists working in New England and the Tri-State region. Initiated to support and recognize contemporary art, MIXMASTER provides an opportunity for established and emerging artists to debut their most recent work.
