April 29 - June 11, 2010
Opening Reception
Thursday, April 29, 6-8 PM
Robert Hite fabricates patched-together shacks and weather-beaten shelters, inspired by his childhood in the Virginia tidewaters. He then re-situates them outdoors around his home near the Hudson River, generating haunting black and white photos that play with scale and juxtaposition of the artificial and natural.
